2025 FIRST Robotics Competition Schedule Released

We are excited to publicly release the preliminary 2025 FIRST® Robotics Competition schedule for all Texas and New Mexico teams! This year brings some exciting updates, including the relocation of two events thanks to the gracious support of our community and corporate partners. We are thrilled to introduce new homes for these competitions in Manor and Tomball, Texas, as we continue to expand and enhance the competition experience for our growing robotics community.

A culminating event of the season is our two-field, 86-team state championship, which will take place in Week 6 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. We are grateful for the local business and community support that helps fund this amazing event. A special thanks to our dedicated FIRST in Texas Mentors and key volunteers, whose hard work helped us secure funding and venues for a season designed to accommodate more than 200 teams. We couldn’t have gotten what is slatted to be our biggest season yet planned without your support!

• Feb. 27th – March 1st: Waco Event – Extraco Coliseum
• Feb. 28th – March 2nd: Tomball Event – Tomball Ag Center

Week 2:

• March 6th – March 8th: Belton Event – Cadence Bank Center
• March 7th – March 9th: Plano Senior High School Event

Week 3:

• March 13th – March 15th: San Antonio Event – Freeman Coliseum
• March 14th – March 16th: Manor Event – Manor High School

Week 4:

• March 20th – March 22nd: Houston Event – M. O. Campbell Center
• March 20th – March 22nd: Ft. Worth Event – Nolan High School

Week 5:

• March 27th – March 29th: Amarillo Event – Amarillo Convention Center
• March 28th – March 30th: Space City Event @ Friendswood

Week 6:

• April 2nd – April 5th: Texas State Championship – George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston
