Dear FIRST in Texas Community,
Happy New Year! As we welcome 2025, I want to take a moment to celebrate each of you—the students, mentors, volunteers, parents, and supporters who make up our incredible FIRST in Texas community. Your passion and dedication to advancing STEM education inspire us every day.
The new year brings with it boundless opportunities to grow, both personally and as part of this amazing community. To everyone participating in the 2025 FIRST in Texas season, I wish you the very best of luck. The journey to the FIRST in Texas State Championships is just around the corner, and I know you’ll tackle every challenge with the creativity, teamwork, inclusiveness, and determination that define what it means to be part of FIRST.
Beyond the competition season, we are committed to keeping the STEM excitement alive year-round. We encourage teams to keep an eye on our calendar for exciting off-season events that provide opportunities to celebrate, collaborate, and grow together in workshops, and robot competitions. These opportunities are a chance to strengthen the bonds within our community, continue advancing STEM awareness, and learn valuable workforce skills.
As we embark on this new year, I urge you all to continue being champions for FIRST programs in Texas. Whether through outreach, advocacy, or sharing your story, your efforts help us inspire more students to embrace STEM and prepare for bright futures. Together, we are building a stronger, more innovative Texas—one robot, one challenge, and one breakthrough at a time.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to our mission. Here’s to a fantastic 2025 filled with growth, joy, and success. Let’s make it our best year yet!
