Spotlight: Qualifier Success and Volunteer Recognition

We had so many wonderful events this season. Thank you to our gracious qualifier hosts, it was a pleasure working with you this season. We also want to extend a big thank you to all the hosts that offered scrimmages and practice days for our teams this season. This year we were able to offer more scrimmages than any previous year. Your efforts helped so many of our teams feel better prepared for their Regional Qualifying events.

From coach trainings in September to scrimmages in October and November and qualifiers in December and January, our volunteers in the north have been amazing this season. We want to send a special shout out to a few key volunteers. Thank you to Jay Jordan for coaching, mentoring, serving as head referee and running all the errands. Thank you to Jim Brodnick for stepping up as a trainer for us this season and creating all our wonderful support materials. And finally, thank you to Dr. Nathan Huntoon for serving as our state judge advisor as well as the north regional judge advisor. We could not have made it this season without all of you.

We rely on the generosity and dedication of our volunteers statewide. If you know of a volunteer that goes above and beyond or simply deserves extra recognition, let us know! Email us at marketing@firstintexas.org to recognize your local volunteers.
