Texas Workforce Commission:

Texas Workforce Commission Seal LogoFIRST Access teams composed only of high school students can apply for FIRST in Texas grants from the Texas Workforce Commission. These are equipment grants that provide your team with the basic robotics kits and materials needed to participate. If your team purchases the equipment before receiving a grant, you may be eligible for reimbursement (receipts required). Equipment provided by this grant includes:

    • FIRST Tech Challenge – Access Edition Grant:
      • Complete Robot Starter Set (REV Robotics)
      • Field Kit (AndyMark)
      • Game Set (AndyMark)
    • Unified Robotics Grant
      • SPIKE Prime Robot Set (LEGO Education)
      • SPIKE Prime Expansion Set (LEGO Education)

 

Dell:

Dell logoFIRST Access teams of all compositions can apply for FIRST in Texas grants from Dell. These grants provide funding directly to teams that can be used to purchase and pay for any direct team related expenses, including (but not limited to) technology and equipment, team uniforms, travel, etc.
