Executive Director of Crude Supply and Trading
Len Rucinski is a longtime advocate of community based education of our youth. He spent 10 years supporting Junior Achievement bringing economic understanding to children starting as early as Kindergarten all the way through high school. He’s also been a proud mentor of the FIRST in Texas program, supporting FLL, FTC and FRC teams over the last 5 years. He’s mentored, judged, inspected, and helped promote the FIRST organization locally bringing a very hands on perspective to the Board.
When he’s not giving back to the community he works as the Executive Director of Crude Supply and Trading for Valero Energy Corporations with 25 years of experience managing the supply logistics of the largest U.S. refining system. He’s been a project engineer over multimillion dollar investments, traded both physical and paper commodities all over the world and works strategically to justify long term investments.
Len graduated with a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Design and a minor in International Management. He went on to get an MBA in International Finance from Texas A&M.
