Marisa Solomon

Marisa Solomon is the Program Delivery Coordinator for FIRST LEGO League in the North Texas Region. She is a veteran teacher of eighteen years, and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology Leadership. Her journey with FIRST began five years ago with the Animal Allies season when she was hired to teach Pre-Algebra at her local Middle School, and the role of Robotics Teacher was included with the teaching contract. Little did she know that coaching Robotics and FIRST LEGO League would soon become her passion.

Over the past five years, Marisa has coached twenty-eight FIRST LEGO League Teams, many of which advanced to the North Texas Regional Championship. She has hosted numerous qualifiers and volunteered as much as her schedule would allow. Marisa has also worked to train new coaches and mentor the start of new robotics programs at local area Middle Schools. Marisa is excited to extend her role with the FIRST Family, in the role of Program Delivery Partner.
