TRICK SHOT CHALLENGE – HUMAN EDITION

Opens: Thursday, December 10th, 2020 – 6 PM CST
Closes:Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 – 6 PM CST
For teams that do not have access to their robot, but still want to participate, team members, mentors/coaches, volunteers, and sponsor representatives will be the ones taking and making the Trick Shots!
The intent is for teams to get creative and make some cool shots with FIRST game pieces that’ll make jaws drop while also creating a unique video to highlight your trick shot(s).
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Longest possible made shot (Set up outside if you want to go for real distance)
- Fastest release and scoring of game pieces
- Shots while on the move
- Bounce shots off of field elements into a goal
- Shots from the top of a stairwell into a goal at the bottom
- Shoot a drone out of the air!
Be creative! If you don’t have a goal, it’s okay to do some bounce shots into garbage cans, lockers, or whatever else you can think. Watch some professional Trick Shot videos on YouTube for some inspiration. Don’t be afraid to be bold!
