FiT Central: FLLE Explore Festival Harmony Science Academy Georgetown

The FIRST® LEGO® League Explore Festival is a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and STEM learning for students ages 6–10. At the festival, young innovators showcase the projects they have worked on throughout the season and share their ideas with volunteers, families, and other teams.

What to Expect at a Festival

During the season, each team works together to explore a real-world theme and build a solution using LEGO® models and basic coding with LEGO Education technology.

At the festival, teams display their team model and poster, explain their ideas and discoveries to reviewers, participate in hands-on STEM activities, and meet and learn from other teams. 

A typical Explore Festival includes:

• Team model displays and presentations

• Friendly review sessions with volunteers

• STEM activity stations for students

• Opening and closing celebrations

• Awards recognizing each team’s unique strengths
