More Than 350 Coaches and Mentors Trained in October

The month of October was dedicated to Coach/Mentor training. In October alone, we have trained over 350 people for this season. There is still more to be done, and we are just getting started. In the coming months, we will be training for our judges and referees for this SuperPowered Season to ensure that we can deliver the best programming possible for our teams.

November is for our Volunteers

FIRST® in Texas’s volunteers are the dedicated individuals who make every season possible. Every pit administrator, referee,  judge, and beyond is someone who has sacrificed their time and energy to dedicate to delivering these events every year. Their work doesn’t end on with the competition though. Many of our volunteers keep up with extensive training for their roles, and some are involved with the logistics of running the events and moving the supplies across the state. More still, many volunteers also give their time as mentors of their local FIRST® LEGO League teams. If you know of a volunteer who has gone above and beyond or has just made a great impact on your community, let us know about them. We would love the chance to spotlight our community. If you would like to support your local FIRST® in Texas community, you can sign up HERE.
