Dean’s List: Don’t Forget to Nominate Your Students

The Dean’s List Award is one of the most meaningful ways to recognize students who exemplify leadership, innovation, and the spirit of FIRST. Every team may nominate up to two 10th–11th grade students, and we encourage coaches to begin thinking about your nominees early.

A strong nomination doesn’t require perfect accomplishments — it highlights growth, resilience, teamwork, and the ways a student strengthens your team and community. If you have students who mentor younger teams, lead outreach, keep the team moving during challenges, or model Gracious Professionalism day after day, this is the opportunity to celebrate them.

Key Reminders

  • Eligible students: 10th and 11th graders (Grades 10–11).
  • Number of nominations: Up to two per team.
  • Nominations submitted through: The FIRST Dashboard.
  • Dealine: December 15th.
