Event Selection for FIRST LEGO League Challenge Closes November 15

Event selection for FIRST LEGO League Challenge will close on November 15th. This deadline allows our team to identify events that do not meet the minimum number of teams and ensures ample time for event planning and volunteer recruitment. However, we understand that some teams are still conducting fundraising efforts to cover registration fees.
Starting next week:
- Event selection will be locked. Teams will not be able to move to a different event after November 15th.
- Teams that have not selected an event may email their Program Delivery Partner (PDP) to request manual placement if:
- The FIRST in Texas registration fee has been paid.
- Space is still available at an event within their region.
- It is not within two weeks of the event start date.
For teams that submitted a FIRST in Texas grant application, please note that we are currently distributing Round 1 funding, with all awards expected to be distributed by the end of this week. We expect that Round 2 will take place later this month.
