Celebrating Manufacturing Month with FIRST® in Texas

In honor of Manufacturing Month, FIRST in Texas joined the 2025 ARMA State of Manufacturing Expo to showcase how robotics education, STEM programs, and hands-on learning prepare students for real-world careers in manufacturing and technology. Three Austin-based FIRST teams represented the power of student innovation, bringing their competition robots to engage with educators, engineers, and industry leaders across Texas.

Through robotics demonstrations, student storytelling, and conversations about STEM workforce development, these teams highlighted how FIRST in Texas volunteers, mentors, and sponsors help students gain critical skills in teamwork, engineering, and problem-solving.

By celebrating Manufacturing Month, FIRST in Texas continues its mission to inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders—cultivating students ready to thrive in Texas’ growing STEM and manufacturing industries.
