FIRST in Texas Named a 2025 Houston Gives Charity

We’re excited to share that FIRST in Texas has been named one of the 2025 Houston Gives charities, receiving $57,100 in advertising space from the Houston Chronicle!

This journey began with the Houston Gives $1 Million Charity Ad Giveaway, an incredible community-driven initiative where every single vote equaled $100 in ad space to help nonprofits expand their reach. Thanks to your daily votes, shares, and encouragement, FIRST in Texas now has an even greater opportunity to inspire and empower more students, educators, and communities through the power of STEM and robotics education.

At the celebration hosted by the Houston Chronicle, we were honored to stand alongside many other impactful organizations making a difference across Houston. This recognition represents far more than ad space — it’s an investment in the next generation of innovators, leaders, and changemakers who will shape Texas’ future workforce.
