FTC Dean’s List Update — What to Expect Next

A quick reminder that Dean’s List nominations are due December 15. If your team plans to nominate a student, please make sure submissions are finalized by the deadline.

We will not have interview scheduling ready for coaches by December 19 as originally planned. However, coaches who have submitted nominees will receive initial guidance on December 19, including:

• What information we’ll need for scheduling

• What the general timeline looks like

• How interviews will be organized for your region

This guidance will help you prepare, even though scheduling itself will not open until January.

Teams should expect scheduling to open in early January.

Exact dates will be finalized once we have a full headcount of statewide nominations.

To help teams plan ahead, here are the expected interview windows by region:

• North & South: January 12–17

• Central & West: January 19–24

These windows are fixed, but your specific interview time will be selected during the January scheduling process.

We appreciate your flexibility as we finalize logistics and interviewer availability. More details are coming soon, and all coaches with nominees will receive clear instructions well ahead of interviews.
