FTC Event Registration for Advancing Events (Regional Championships & State)

We are still finalizing the full registration process for advancing events, including Regional Championships and State. However, we want to share what teams can expect based on the current plan.

What We Expect to Happen

Registration for advancing events will appear in the FIRST in Texas Coach Portal.

When a team advances to an event:

• The advancing event will appear in the Coach Portal and require registration and payment.

• Teams should expect to receive an automated email notification letting them know a new event is available in their portal.

• Teams will also begin receiving email communication from their Program Delivery Partner with event-specific details, timelines, and expectations.

We strongly encourage teams to begin planning for the cost of advancing events. All advancement fees are public and available here:
