Kiewit Employees Join FIRST in Texas for FLL Challenge Build Day

Thank You, Kiewit, for an Incredible Outreach Event!

We had an awesome time at Kiewit’s FLL Challenge Build Day! From start to finish, the energy in the room was inspiring, and it was clear how much Kiewit employees enjoyed being part of the FIRST in Texas mission—many even came back more than once to help with builds.

The day kicked off with warm welcomes from Lucia, who also shared an overview of the volunteer needs for upcoming Houston-area FLL and FRC events. Juan captured the spirit of the event through photos, ensuring the excitement was documented. Lucia also took a moment to thank Kiewit for their outstanding volunteer support at the 2025 FRC District Championship, a reminder of just how impactful their continued partnership has been.

Dee then introduced the 2025-2026 FLL Challenge and guided participants through the process of building the official game pieces. With clear instruction and hands-on teamwork, Kiewit employees built, learned, and laughed together while contributing to the season’s success.
