Round 2 Team Grants Update

A reminder that Round 2 of the FIRST in Texas 2025 to 2026 Grant Application is officially open. If your team already submitted an application during Round 1, there is nothing else you need to do. Your application automatically rolled over and is already being reviewed for Round 2 funding.

Upcoming Team Grant Deadlines:

• Round 1 Grant Awards: All applicants have been notified and awarded teams can expect funds by November 30

• Round 2 Application Window Closes: November 30, 2025

• Applicants Receive Confirmation Email: Within 2–3 days of submission

• Round 2 Award Notifications: All applications will be notified by December 12

• Round 2 Grant Awards: Awarded teams can expect funds by January 23, 2026

Teams submitting during November can expect timely confirmations, and all Round 2 applicants will move into the review stage beginning December 1. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding, but our team continues to work closely with sponsors to maximize support across all programs.

Looking Ahead:

Round 3 will begin January 1 and serves as the final opportunity for teams to be considered for grant funding this season. Your one application will continue into Round 3 automatically, so there is no need to resubmit.

Additional sponsor commitments are expected early in the new year, and we anticipate expanded opportunities as those funds become available. We encourage all teams to stay engaged and watch for updates as Round 3 approaches.
