As we prepare for several FIRST in Texas events this weekend, we want everyone to stay weather-aware of the predicted snow/ice in parts of the state.
We are actively monitoring weather conditions in your area. Please refer to our Event Status Page to stay updated on the official, real-time updates on delays, postponements, or cancellations of FIRST in Texas events.
Please be aware of the following potential changes:

A late start time (10:00 a.m. or later) may be implemented if weather conditions are warranted for local areas.

If local school districts delay or cancel operations, we will follow their guidance in determining whether to proceed with the event.

If a team’s school district cancels transportation due to weather, the event will be rescheduled or canceled as appropriate.
We will communicate any changes as soon as possible. The safety of our students, volunteers, and families remains our top priority. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we work through this weather situation.
