Winning the Impact Award came with an invitation to compete at the FIRST World Championship, a global stage where the best teams in the world come together. After the celebration and tears of joy faded, reality followed. The cost of travel, registration, and logistics stood between the Rogue Rangers and an opportunity they had already earned. The City of McAllen formally recognized the Rogue Rangers with a proclamation, honoring their impact and dedication to students and STEM education. Standing alongside Mayor Villalobos, the team was celebrated not just for their achievements, but for what they represent.
