Brad Maulden
FiT Fellow - East
Brad Maulden is a FIRST in Texas Fellow for the East and Central Region. He currently attends Texas A&M
University, majoring in Interdisciplinary Engineering on the Mechatronics track and minoring in Electrical
Engineering.
Brad previously competed in both FLL and FTC, where he first discovered the importance of engineering
integrity, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism. These early experiences shaped his belief that technical
skill and ethical responsibility must go hand in hand in STEM.
As a Fellow, Brad supports teams and event partners across East and Central Texas, focusing on expanding
access to FIRST programs and helping new teams build sustainable, student-centered foundations. He is
passionate about guiding students not only in robotics and design, but also in building cultures of respect,
safety, and ethical decision-making.
At Texas A&M, Brad is engaged in robotics and engineering design work, further developing his technical and
professional ethics through interdisciplinary coursework. He plans to pursue a career in robotics and
automation while continuing to advocate for STEM programs that inspire both innovation and responsible
engineering.
