Kati Duran

Katelyn Duran is a FIRST in Texas Fellow for the Central Texas Region and attends The University of Texas at
Austin, where she is majoring in Biomedical Engineering on the Computational track.

Katelyn previously participated in both FLL and FTC and was a Dean’s List Finalist during the 2022 FTC
season. Over the years, she has supported the FIRST community as a volunteer, mentor, and event assistant,
giving her experience in both team-focused and event-focused roles. Since starting college, she has
continued her involvement by mentoring local FLL and FTC teams, coordinating outreach efforts, and
volunteering at competitions across Texas. She remains committed to supporting students across the state
and helping expand access to meaningful STEM opportunities.
