Lauren Cardenas
FRC Advisory Council
Lauren was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas, and has dedicated her career to serving the local community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in sport management, both from the University of Texas at Austin. Since 2015, she has been an active mentor with FRC Team 4063, serving as head coach since 2017. A math educator at Del Rio High School since 2014, she currently teaches precalculus, calculus, and statistics. In 2022, she was honored as the SFDR-CISD Secondary Teacher of the Year. Passionate about education and advocacy, she is committed to empowering students through both academics and robotics.
