Robert O'Connor

Robert O’Connor serves as the Coordinator of AI Innovation at Region 16 Education Service Center, where he leads initiatives focused on integrating artificial intelligence into K–12 education. With over 15 years of experience in school leadership, STEM education, and instructional technology, Robert is a passionate advocate for equitable access to robotics and computer science. As a longtime robotics coach and current volunteer at Nazareth School, his teams have earned recognition at state and national levels in FIRST Tech Challenge and TCEA competitions. Appointed to the FIRST in Texas FTC Advisory Council in 2025, Robert supports strategic efforts to expand robotics opportunities and empower educators and students across Texas.
